Battering Intervention and Prevention Program (BIPP) 2025

BIPP is a structured educational program designed to help participants recognize abusive behavior patterns, understand the impact of their actions, and learn healthier, non-violent relationship skills. 

All sessions are held live via remote video. Participants join from home but still interact with a certified facilitator and the same group members each week.

The program length depends on the number of hours required by the court or probation department. Options range from 8 hours to 52 hours, completed in weekly 2-hour sessions. 

You may miss one class during the entire program. There are 2 classes a week and you are able to re-schedule, but you cannot miss one entire week. Missing more than one session requires restarting the program from the beginning, and previous hours cannot be credited.

At this time, the program is open to men only. This is because the current facilitator and group structure are designed specifically for male participants.

Yes. A certificate of completion is issued once you complete all required hours and pay all associated fees. Certificates are accepted by most Texas courts and probation departments, but participants must verify acceptance with their supervising authority.
